Four days before Christmas

It's four days before Christmas.

The tree is up. Shopping isn't done.

Daughter is making cookies like there's no tomorrow. Son is playing video games. The Mister has a sinus infection.

I'm in full-on panic mode. I'm into comfort food at this point with a steady diet of cookies and hot cocoa.

Rain, like people, is often misunderstood.

Bad: rained-out sports, slippery roads, mud-slides, flooding, dreary, depressing, you see what I mean.

Good: listening to rain on the roof of the house/car/umbrella, Gene Kelly's dance in Singin' in the Rain, puddles, staying cozy inside on a stormy day, you see what I mean here, too.

It all comes down to attitude. Your perception of rain all depends on how you choose to look at it.
